On 10th of November 2023, the first webinar of ENSMOV Plus discussed the changes brought by the recast of the Energy Efficiency Directive adopted in September 2023.
After an introduction about ENSMOV Plus by Jean-Sébastien Broc (IEECP), Samuel Thomas (RAP) presented the report analysing these changes and the new EU context of the fit-for-55 package.
Then Antonin Chapelot presented the analysis done by the Coalition for Energy Savings about the draft updates of NECP (National Energy and Climate Plans) that Member States had to submit by June 2023.
A panel discussion provided the viewpoints of the European Commission (Margot Pinault), a Member State (Christos Tourkolias – CRES, Greek agency) and stakeholder association (Antonin Chapelot – Coalition for Energy Savings).
