Learn more about the technical aspects of MRV

The difficulty often faced by the Member States on MRV in the context of Article 7 is how to deal with the sometimes complex requirements, without this becoming a burden on time and finances.
The technical aspects refer to the specifics of how energy savings are measured, how they are recorded and communicated, and how their compliance is verified.

The first is the most common method currently used across MS and relies upon standard measures of energy savings – deemed measures.

The second, under ‘future outlooks’, will look ahead to what could be possible with smart meters, pay for performance methods, and direct measures of energy savings – measured savings.

In the webinar video, more on both methods and existing examples can be learned and the question sent to the country contacts via Article7 EED forum.
