The ENSMOV Plus Webinar on “Bridging Energy Savings Obligations and Social Climate Plans: Tackling Energy Poverty and Consumer Vulnerability in Member States” took place 9th April 2025.
The webinar introduction provided an updated overview about how energy poverty is addressed in Member States’ final updated NECPs (National Energy and Climate Plans), due by Member States in June 2024.
This presentation is based on special brief prepared by IEECP diving deeper into the NECP results: [DOWNLOAD THE POLICY BRIEF].
The webinar then shared experience from the development of Social Climate Plans in Croatia, Lithuania and Slovenia, and how these plans relate to ensure fairness in the achievement of energy savings, as required by the new Energy Efficiency Directive.
