Article 8 of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EU)2023/1791 requires Member States to achieve a minimum amount of cumulative energy savings over ten years period, currently 2021-2030. Member States can implement Energy Efficiency Obligation Schemes and/or Alternative measures to achieve their target.
The ENSMOV Plus project has produced snapshots of Member States’ energy efficiency policy measures, collating detailed policy design and delivery information alongside insights from interviewees involved in policy implementation.
This webinar provided an overview of recent developments in Member States’ policy measures, and discussing the provisions of the new EED, whose transposition deadline was 11th of October, 2025.
