A Bottom-Up Modelling Analysis of Renovation Strategies in the Residential Sectors of Greece and Croatia

Greece and Croatia were selected for in-depth analysis following a structured review of residential sector polices across Member States and a participatory consultation with national experts of the ENSMOV Plus consortium. These countries expressed strong interest in modelling support and provided the required data for the implementation of the analysis.
Using the Dynamic high-Resolution dEmand-sidE Management (DREEM) model, the analysis quantifies baseline energy demand, simulates the impact of individual and combined renovation measures and evaluates achievable energy savings.
